[edit] Rationale
- Brush creating/editing is generally not a frequent task - therefore the edit dialog does not have to be accessible in one-click manner (no need to hide it either) and can afford to get the entire attention of the user when invoked.
- All frequent modifications of the brush settings (e.g. size) should be done in some other manner.
- Brush Editor will be based on the results of the brush library documentation effort.

Nice one. I fully agree with your Rationale. Setting categories seem like a good idea and most of them fit in natrually. I assume you did not put all the numerical labels and slider just to safe time on the mockup? Or do you intend to remove them? The brush stroke above looks like you want to use a "standard stroke". Also think about eraser brushes, smudge/blur brushes, and be aware that some brushes might get extremels small or extremely huge in the "standard stroke", making the preview almost useless. maxy 22:10, 19 December 2009 (UTC)
