[edit] Cursors for blending modes
Blend modes are on the horyzon after the 0.9 , and after testing various draft version on Git, I saw there is a lake of visual feedback. Here an attempt to propose a solution without ( I guess ) too much of coding.

[edit] Magnetic ruler while a key modifier is pressed
The actual ( 0.9 ) line tool ( Shift key pressed + paint ) is very good to do speed perspective grid , but also not enought predictable for painting 90° lines for framing artwork/sketch/research on the fly. That's why I was thinking about , and found this ( picture above with text in description ). --Deevad 17:51, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
- Even more useful than a regular square ruler would be an adjustable perspective grid ruler. You have a tool to place vanishing points, and, when lock to grid is enabled, when you make a stroke, your stroke will be locked to a perspective line that passes through the point you begin your stroke.
- But even if a perspective grid is complicated to implement, I like your suggestion. My only revision would be to make it increments of 15 degrees. It's more precise, but not overwhelmingly so. --Luftmensch 04:56, 13 July 2012 (UTC)
